Request: An Aquaintance List O_o

Ok, strange request Paz.

You know how every Tom, Dick and Harry can add you to their friends list and when you get to high level, you help one guy out then every time you log on, they jump on you for more assistance etc...

...but they're not bad people, and you don't want to /ignore them etc.

I prepose some kind of additional list within WIM that we can add these people who we don't want to ignore.

How will it work?

Well if I add 'Nobby' to this new list, I no longer get message flashing or message sounds from 'Nobby' in my WIM list. Instead, they come through on general chat window just like if I did not have WIM installed.

That way i can just continue on about my business and ignore their hails without getting a 'beep' 'beep' message 'beep' from their: 'hey you there?' 'hi I'm back' 'blah bla bla' continous hails that make you want to /ignore them... but they're not really a bad person.

Anyone not on the new list that sends a message can come through as per normal WIM message and alert me. Kind of like an 'Annoyed with List', people that constantly message but are not bad people you want to /ignore. And if you choose to reply to their message from general chat, it can then become a normal WIM message window for the duration of the message window being open.

Do you know what I mean? If not let me know and I'll try to re-explain it better.

Not sure when I will implement this, but it will definately be a major release since it is quite a task. As a little teaser, I will just say that I plan on implementing a more advanced filtering system. More options on how to handle filtered messages as well as descriptions of filters rather than showing the raw pattern and choosing to filter based off of player name or pattern.

Hope that gives you a gist of my plans, and an explaination why I am going to hold out on your request for now.
