Filter problems

Ok so I've written a macro to whisper me when Unholy Blight has 3 seconds before it wears off so I can refresh it.  So I put in a filter to ignore these whispers, cause it want it in a chat frame and not pop up a box (cause sometimes it runs out after combat ends) and it puts the cursor in a box to myself, instead of keeping it in game so I might be typeing in raid and the box pops up with the cursor and what i was typing is gone. 

So, let me explain, the filter works, the text goes to my chat frame and not into the WiM box, however, WIM still pops up a box with the cursor in it. 

So I think that's a bug/issue, cause if the filter is set to ignore these things, why would it pop up a chat box, also is there a way to suprress the box whenever the whisper is from myself?

Ok let me see if I get this... So you're saying the box is showing when you SEND the whisper.

In other words let's make believe you're doing this manually.  Go ahead and send a whisper, does your cursor automatically go to the WIM window (as in when you "/t Nachonut" that pops the window open).  If so, then it's working as intended in that matter.....  The wim windows (with your current settings) automatically get focus when you try to whisper somebody.  I have it set to never pop up when SENDING a message, but that's just me (this will also fix your problem)

Other than that, i'd wait for another reply from another dev or pazza.

It sounds to me like what Nacho said is exactly what's happening. While WIM is filtering the incoming whisper, as it should be, that doesn't change the fact that you are still sending a whisper, which is what WIM is reacting to. I can't tell you off the top of my head exactly where the option is to turn off this behavior, but I know it does exist. Look around the options, I'm sure you can find it.
