I got the following error when I tried to view the history of a lvl 1 character who was initially blocked.

Count: infinite (atleast it looked like the infinite sign, but copy & pasting it here makes it look like "8")

At the time I got the whisper I remember clicking "view message" and responding.

I attached a little picture of how the WIM History looked like when the error popped. When the error occured the History Viewer froze and I was unable to use it until I did a reload of the interface.

Interesting. I will look into it. Messages shouldn't be filtered when viewing history...

I just came to report this same issue and see someone bet me to it

The exact same thing happened to me today with the new version just released (3.1.2 Aug 15th). I made a screen shot but it's identical to the one posted above so i won't post it unless you want it.

One thing that was'nt mentioned though is that (for me at least) after the error occured my framerate dropped by around 50fps. The history window becomes completly non responsive and the only thing you can do is close the window. With the window closed i was still down by around 30 fps and had to re-log to recover it.

Also just to note that if you close the window and re-open it after the error occured, it will still be non responsive so only a re-log or re-load will fix the error.

It's definatly the level 1 characters that previously got blocked by filters that causes this. After the error occured i got a level 1 to /w me, let them be blocked and then viewed the message. After that i viewed the history and i got the same error again.
