WIM not initating window unless I send whisper first

Been having an issue with WIM for a while now where when I get a whisper from someone I'm not actually getting a window to pop up. This wouldn't be unusual in that I know that this was happening with an earlier edition of the addon. This issue is a bit more specific though. What is happening is I'm hearing the sound I set up when receiving a whisper but unless I initiate the whisper to someone "first" the window won't pop.  As long as I'm the one starting a chat whisper to a player the window will pop up. Before you say "disable all your other addons and see if one of them is interfering" the answer is no none of them are. All my addons are up to date and I have disabled them all except for WIM and this still happens.  Sometimes I get a error window populating and sometimes I don't.  I can try and c/p this the next time it happens for someone to check it over.  What I'm also seeing is when I send a whisper to someone after this they appear in a new tab but there is a blank Chat_whisper tab that shows up as well which would seem to be that original whisper that someone tried to send me.  This is a blank window.  I can try and take a screenshot of this the next time it happens but in the mean time, I'd like help with this.  Other than this the addon is a great one to have.

This seems to be an compatibility issue with SpamSentry. I posted my error log in a reply to another person's post about SpamSentry.  Please review my error log on that post and see if there is something that needs to be fixed with WIM
