WIM spamming negotiating messages every couple of sec

After updating my addons, some pre patch and some after, my wim is spamming negotiating msg like crazy again (had it before with 3.0.5 too, i think)

Its even spamming people that are on my friendslist but arent using wim themselves.

Im lettng AddonSpamFu output in chatframe1 for testing: get these msgs every couple of seconds :/

I only use fubar 3.6 (3.5 did the same btw), addonspamfu, decursive, and WIM right now

Cleared savedvariables stuff related to these addons,  not using Wim-2-wim whatsoever.

I'm in my own guild, alone, got a extensive list of friends tho, but atm only 4 online.

addonspamfu window says something like this atm.

edit 2:  I can make the counter go up very fast if i spam the O (open/close social)... but ONLY on the friendslist, if i got the 'WHO' tab open, nothing happens.

I agree the negotiation needs some optimizing to reduce redundant messages. I need to do some research and figure out ideal moments when to send notifications.

Thnx for looking into it pazza. Think this must be the most spammy addon i have... by far (and I use loads normally) it even outspams healcomm in raids   (i'm a priest)

Im pretty curios why its negotiating so much anyway? (whenever i open friendslist it sends to everyone online, and every 5 to 10sec it does the same.)

Nevertheless, the most spammy but also the most awesome addon for wow there is.

I have already revised the Negotiate module and am currently testing it. It should reduce the numbers by a lot. Also note, WIM2WIM uses a lot of addon traffic. But you'll only get that activity if a.) w2w is enabled and b.) if you talking to another WIM user. The traffic is mainly due to the updating of location coordinates. I'm ranting.. Next update you should see a noticable difference :-)

Yup, i can tell you new version will be much much much (much) better.

Dunno when pazza will put it out tho.

I'm at a fraction of the data I was having before and thats mostly cuz my beta version is responding to msgs sent by 'older' versions. (read: the version everyone else is using)
