Group and Guildchat in Tabs

Hi everybody,

I would like to see only one wimwindow arranged in tabs. I've checked the option "Automatically group Chatwindows" as mentioned in the shoutbox but that doesn't do the trick.

If I type "/g test" in the whisperwindow another window pops up instead of a new tab in the whisperwindow.

Is it possible to do that with the current set of options?

Right now the 2 sets of tabs are treated as separate entities.  Whispers form toons go in one group and your chat windows go into another group.  You can physically drag these 2 together for now if you would like for a temporary solution (shift drag on top of eachother).

You are correct. I forgot to account for that. I thought it would be more helpful to have it as seperate tab groups. Until I add more options, you can always manually drag the window in.

Hi, i was searching how to join chat window and whispers because i would like to see only one CHAT window with all the diferents chats, like fresh wow install, but with WIM ~~~

Anyway, i think maybe it's possible to add vertical tabs or buttons  (perhaps little circles like WIM upper-left circle thing XD) on the left of the windows chat. Those options would be for example

 [1] Guild/Group/Band/Raid...
 [2] Whispers
 [3] Chat World

So every button has it's own chat window with upper tabs, avoiding this way many tabs on the same window.

Going further, obviouly the best option will be that those buttons/tabs would be configurable (so anyone could make our favourite mix), giving us 2 or 3 tabs to put "channels" on them as we like. <- That would be awesome!!

I like it... I just don't know how easy it will be to implement. When I get back to "WoW" (trying to enjoy the outdoors atm) I would like to finish chat support. Although it works, it is still missing features which I haven't finished yet. Then we can explore some UI possibilities.
