[Already Implemented] Closing windows when opening the world map.

Any chance on having this as an option instead of disabled by default? After having it for so long it comes in handy when in combat, hitting M twice is much easier than closing a window.

Hitting escape is harder then pressing M twice?

Hitting escape while casting cancels the cast before closing WIM windows.

You have a few options for this. 

The new Expose feature will hide your windows while in combat, so you never have to hit anything to close all the windows.
Hit escape before you start to cast?


Why don't you go ahead and explain what WIM did before as opposed to what is happening now in detail.

Before people could talk to me during a fight and I could read what they say, reply if needed, and close the windows by simply pressing m twice to open and close the world map, even while mid-cast. Now if I try to do the same thing, the window will stay open instead of closing. I'd like to be able to see messages as they appear(unless I'm in an arena, which I have set to not show any whispers) with the ability to close them without cancelling my casts.

See if using the keybinding is sufficient enough for you. There are key bindings to hide all windows as well as a key binding for expose... I know old habits die hard (ei m twice).
