There seems to be a small issue that me and my fiance are getting and I'm not sure if anyone else is either, but when I type out that I'm looking for a group and ask people to send me a tell, I will not get their message at all. All I see is "message from <insert name>" on my keyboard LCD, but do not ever receive the message. If there is a fix for this or if you can help me in trying to figure out what's going on that would be great! Thank you so much.

I haven't seen this come up yet on the new build so i'm going to just throw in there the whole idea of turning off your other mods and make sure it is solely a WIM issue.  Can you do that for us and get back to us if you're still experiencing this issue?

Unless you are using WIM 3.0.5 or something I would suggest that you take a look at your spam addons first. SpamMeNot, SpamSentry etc. The behaviour you are describing is awfully familiar with the bug reported for WIM 3.0.5 ;p

This is still happening in recent revisions (reported more details in beta forum for WIM revision 169).

In my testing it is not related to WIM in general but to WIM's own spam filter and LibWho-2.0.

For developers/beta testers you can only test this properly with a friend
that - for the duration of the tests - is NOT on your friend's list|guild|party|raid|,
and enable WIM's Spam Blocker Filter as well.

For users the workaround is to just disable WIM's Spam Block filters
until this is resolved.

Well the thing is that I don't get this behaviour. I have the level filter activated and I get goldsellers blocked as they should. I also receive whispers from random people every day.

I am not seeing this bug at all. Since it is not consistent it might be hard to track down.

OMG... been having the same problem since i tried disabling W2W a few days ago (i think that set it off).

I get this error when I try to whisper or are whispered by somebody:

I can get a swatter report for it if needed.

The first whisper doesnt show, but subsequent whispers appear fine.
Also, all of the guild, class, location, etc information never shows up on the window.

The real kick in the nuts is that it doesn't work on all my toons in my main Guild, but it works fine on my bank alt in my bank guild. O.o

Do you have all the same addons enabled on all of your toons?  Saying that it happens on particular ones and not others sometimes leads to another addon conflict (just my 2 cents)

The toon WIM works on has a significant number of addons disabled compared my other toons... my 3 80's only have a few core things in common, so ill mess with combinations of those to see what breaks the UserInfo call

Found it... the newest version of MagicTargets is tainting it :-(... the old version of MagicTargets was better anyways! thanks for the help lol :-)
