[Fixed] Repeating one whisper over and over?

I don't really know how else to describe it for the topic title.  I checked a few topics first, didn't see this problem, so yeah.

What's happening is that upon receiving a whisper, I get a UI error (will edit the text into here in a minute), and after that, all whispers I send OR receive in the conversation are simply displayed as the whisper that came with the error over and over.

Example:

Me: Hi.
Dude: Yo!  (error triggered)
Dude: Yo!  (what displays when I respond)
Dude: Yo!  (What displays when he responds back, regardless of what he actually said)

I grabbed the latest version of WIM, and the problem persisted.  What's going on, and is there a way to fix it?  I don't believe it's conflicting with any of my mods, but I can't be sure.  I'll try it with no mods active and check the results.

Edit; Now that I think about it, it's a hard error to test with no other mods enabled, cause even with everything on, it's occasional - but frequent enough to be a major inconvenience.

I had this happen to me once or twice before. And it was resolved on my end by just making sure I had the most recent version of EVERY addon on my system.

other than that, you will need to narrow down (i know it's a bitch but it's the only way since nobody else is having this problem at the moment, which leads to an addon conflict) which addon is conflicting with wim on your system.

turn em all of and enable them one by one, but as you said it doesn't happen all the time as it is so.... god speed my friend. try doing what i suggested first. my 2 cents

that type of error usually means a blizzard issue id suggest using the blizzard repair tool.

It generally means that some data sent to the ChatFrame has missing arguments or incorrectly formatted arguments.

If I were to guess, I'd say its probably sending data before the lookup is complete causing the error, and from then on the arguments are correct but the function is locked out.

If you get an addon like Improved Error Frame or check your error logs, you will be able to see what addon function was called immediately before the error, which would help immensely in narrowing down the bug or conflict.

I haven't managed to narrow it down at all with testing... but two mods I know for sure I acquired after it started, are Tongues and Talented... I sorta hope it isn't Tongues, cause I have a lot of fun with that on my Ret Paladin yelling at things in Draconic in Obsidian Sanctum, but if that's what causing it, it's going.
