[Fixed] Strata issues

I also posted a ticket on curseforge. I wasn't sure if this would be a bug or a feature request, but thought I'd say it's a bug since the older WIM didn't have this "problem" as I'm seeing it.



What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Whisper using WIM, open any window, bags, character panel, dressing room, etc that falls behind the WIM window...
2. try to bring the bag / pane, etc in front of WIM window - fail
3. forced to move WIM window, or close it to be able to work with things in other panes.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
WIM used to fall to the background if something else that overlapped that part of the screen was clicked, would love to see this functionality restored.

What version of the product are you using?
3.0.4 beta

Do you have an error log of what happened?
No error, just not expected result

Please provide any additional information below.

Let me know if this is an intended feature, I know it's driving me nuts, so if it is I'll keep looking for a workaround.

Hi,

First off, thanks for taking the time to fill out some form of bug report template, most people don't bother and frequently miss important information out.

The issue you are reporting is not a bug, in its current state, WIM does not allow alteration of window strata. This means that WIM will always be on top of anything except tooltips and certain Dialog boxes.

At some point it is planned to add an option to adjust this parameter, but until then i'm afraid its fixed

::bows and cries tears of joy on your shoulder:: Nah, playing is good I just wasn't sure if it was even going to change or not :-p I'm just stuck because of my vision without being able to make my UI scale bigger >_< so it eats screenspace. but whispers are life, so it happens

This is one of the best mods I've found and I'm so glad you're still working on it. If i had any clue how to code I'd offer to help you more!

If you need anything tested (by someone with a stupid amount of mods running) Let me know
