[DevTeam] [Zeke]: I love that I get emailed when someone reports spam on the boards, but I can't do anything about it.
[DevTeam] [Nachonut]: lol i got you
[DevTeam] [Astaldo]: How about "hide email address from public checked" and it's still visible in all my posts...
[DevTeam] [Astaldo]: I'd delete my account on this site, but by the time I realized the problem half the spambots on the planet had it already
[Developer] [Pazza]: Astaldo if you log out and view your profile with a refresh you'll see that your email is hidden.
[Developer] [Pazza]: Your user level on the forums permit you to see emails even though they are marked hidden.
[DevTeam] [Astaldo]: Ah.. thanks for the clarification and apologies for "crying wolf" in that case :
[DevTeam] [Kaidenn]: PAZZA! i miss you.
[DevTeam] [Nachonut]: Lol, it's funny how it takes spam message reports to get me to come back
[DevTeam] [sylvanaar]: Check out the beta tester forum. Need alpha testers and feedback so I can come up with a maintenance plan.
[Developer] [Pazza]: loaded some new spam prevention modules... lets see if this stops the bastards.
[DevTeam] [Maziel]: Thought I'd check in and say Howdy Doody from Australia
[DevTeam] [Maziel]: Yeah the spam from shoes salesmen was becoming insane
[Guest] [Delakando]: What ever happened to the ability to track friend's location by wim? Other then just showing their general zone location.
Zeke pokes his head around the corner.
[DevTeam] [Zeke]: Anybody home?
[Guest] [Theillur]: I would like to know if it is just me.
[Guest] [Theillur]: http://www.wimaddon.com/forums/index.php/topic,1796.0.html
[Guest] [Nev]: I'm here
[Guest] [Nev]: I don't think anyone else is though
[Guest] [tomasio]: great site [url=http://freeonlinemusicvideos.net].[/url] [url=http://freepeopleclothing.org].[/url]
[Guest] [Theillur]: Nev it is not working for Zeke as well.

[DevTeam] [lothaer]: Zeke, Maziel, Pazza, Nachonut, sylvanaar, Kaidenn, Astaldo where are you?
[DevTeam] [lothaer]: It would be a real shame if WIM was left to die.
[DevTeam] [lothaer]: i think these forums are dead, Sylvanaar dosnt post on them as he only bug fixes when possible. WIMs future isnt very bright
[Guest] [justgiz]: Yea, its rather sad.
[Guest] [silvercola]: I wish it had skype

I need some features that can improve the functionality of this addon, so that makes it useful.
To be honest tested this addon, felt like it can do alot of things, but I finaly ended giving up on it. Some of the reasons I don;t like it are:

1. My screen is full of addons and other things. I realy need some other way the screens are displayed, as cascade style eats up my entire screen.
An option to put all screens in the same place, and cycle with tab key within different members would be realy nice.
This adon has to have 2 states. "Busy" and "ready to talk".
While I'm busy, I want the screens to don't automaticaly popup, as it may bother me while in a fight. While ready to talk I won;t mind if the screen just popup by himself. Other thing is that while in a fight, I want to be able to fast answer someone that whispers me. A line with all active messages, might be realy useful. You can keep the names of the players that whisper me, until I close them one by one.
2. The second thing I don't like and was the most anoying, is that after I talk with someone, and I click the area, or select someone by mouse, or just click outside of the chat window, the chat window just won;t loose focus, and I end up writeing in the chat window again. Please do something with this.
Is very useful a bar with the persons name that just whispered to you, to  see them all the time, not only when you mouseover the icon.

The real problem is if you can replace all the whispers ingame, and put there only the names of the players that whispered to you.

Well WIM can already do a few of the things you mentioned, wim's options are quite large so its easy to miss a lot of things

Cascading: WIM has 2 windowmodes, windowed (which is the default, cascading mode), but it also has a tabbed mode, and keyboard shortcuts for this, look under the Window tab in wim's options, the first dropdown lets you change this, and the keybinding settings are added to blizzard's keybindings window.

WIM doesnt yet have the 'busy' and 'ready to talk' modes, but it does let you decide when you want message windows to popup and when you don't, e.g. you can disable window popups in combat, for incoming, outgoing messages or completely, thats under the General tab of wim options, 5 checkboxes starting about 1/3 of the way down,

Managing focus in windows is always a problem for developers, do people want focus to stick, or to lose focus or whatever, if the window's editbox has focus a single escape press will remove it, without opening the menu, or clearing your target etc. Wim's option's General tab, first 3 checkboxes let you decide on windows' focus behavour.

I can't live without tabs btw, i can't handle multiple windows taking up my whole screen.  Check out the general section for a ss of what i'm talking about

Funny thing is, these are all pretty much factors being developed for WIM 3.0 lol?

Pazza has a very VERY big view and future for WIM in the next expansion. So I would say, play around with wim, get used to it's functionality and be prepared for huge changes in the months to come.

while in combat, would be realy nice to be able to receive the whisper, and be able to see/reply as fast as possible, but I don;t want it to popup any window, as in combat my screen is full with addons. I will test it again to see what I can do.
Ty for answering

well there is an option "hide whispers from the default chat frame, unless hidden due to combat", so if you have it set so windows don't pop up in combat, whispers would just appear down in the chat area

chat working as without addon, would be nice while in combat. this is another good idea. Or any other method that alows you to see the message, but to don't popup a window.

Like Stewart said, this is already in the current version of WIM. Check your options. It should look something like this to hide the popup in combat and see the whispers in the normal chat window.
