ok here is my bug report, first of all.. love the addon.. use it alot and very easy to use

but there is a very annoying bug, whenever you open a whisper window with someone, and later he goes afk that sort of error keeps spamming your chat with: <name> Is Away from Keyboard: Away from Keyboard. and about one error every 2 seconds, which is actually spamming your chat. and today I had it again, and I used to got rid of it by closing the chat. but I closed chat and the error didnt go away.

PS: I have in the WIM options menu the option: 'Show AFK and DND messages.' unflagged.

I can confirm this. And I can add that I am getting similar effect even without PM window open, in fact in game session where I haven't got any whispers at all.

thats what I sad Grin , maybe does anyone got a solution for it? or is it just a bug?

I've been trying but I can't seem to replicate this. Do you still get this problem when you run WoW with no other addons than WIM?

Users will not get W2W pings sent to them unless you have a conversation open for that user (whether it's hidden or not).

If you do not have any WIM windows open, then odds are, another addon is sending messages to users triggering the afk message..

On the other hand. (now i haven't tested this) In theory, if you friend is afk and has a window open with you... his wim will continue to ping you and your wim will indeed respond back (even if you don't have a convo open with him). That might cause the afk message to spam. Though I see this as being a very rare case. and again, I am unsure if this even would happen...

I'll leave it to those who are having the problem to figure out exactly when and why it is happening as I myself am unable to reproduce this problem.

I got no other chat addons installed what so ever..

Doesn't really have to be a chat addon that's causing the conflict actually. Best bet if you really want to try to figure out what addon is causing the conflict is to go through the list. I know it's a pain (from personal experiences) but hey... that's how we figure things out  Tongue

I was getting a /afk bug also, but mine was saying it was in the who lib for spam sentry.
