Got this error as soon as I upgraded WIM...closed WoW completely & all that stuff.

In case it matters, I use WowAceUpdater to keep my Ace addons up to date, and I run it without externals...everything was updated at around 6:30pm tonight.

With 2.4.14 WIM has been rewritten to use a new WoW2.4 chat event API. CraftList2.0 attempts to hook into WIM's old code to suppress messages. CraftList2.0 will require to be updated to prevent errors like this.

i went to wowace and updated my craftlist 2 but still i get the same error. I really dont know what to do. Anyone here do?

I went to wowace and made a new search which showed me that it has been updated. Though it hasn't been changed, meaning the bug is still there. I found the answer to the problem here

On this forum you are actually redirected back here, which is kinda funny =)  but it's only becuase that Pazza is doing such a great job.

The easiest "hack" to make this work, is by opening the craftlist2.lua file in the craftlist folder.
Then u gotta fin WIM_ChatFrame_MessageEventHandler and the chance it to WIM_MessageEventHandler.
There is only 2 places in the lua where this is needed, so it really isnt that hard.

Open the craftlist2.lua with firefox or IE, in order to find where the code is,
then you open it with notepad (or atleast i did) use the search funktion to find it again and the just change it as i said above,
and then ur done =) worked for me anyway
