I would like a feature to edit the sound file to be played when the message comes in.  Something like checking a box that tells the program to look for a custom file that has to be named 'custom.wav' and be put in one of the mod folders.  I have bad hearing and want an alarm type noise that will definitely get your attention.

I have planned for the future an interface for creating "plugins" / "themes" for WIM that other developers can make. This will include the ability to change graphics, create custom shortcut buttons and more. And yes as well as sound packs or just sound mods.

But that doesn't help you at this moment in time does it... hmm... I suggest looking in the WIM folder and in the sounds folder. You can replace that file with any of wave that you wish to use. Just make sure it has the same name so WIM can find it. Thats the best I can do at the moment.

For the time being, I need to download the PTR version of WIM and make sure it is ready for patch day. Can anyone confirm when it will be released? Hope not tuesday! Don't these rich blizz coders need to pay their taxes on the 17th?!
