Edit: I forgot to start off by telling you that WIM is one of the top addons out there! Simple and extremely useful. Now back to the post.

I have a problem that WIM could be the ultimate sollution to. I forget people!

I am in contact with so many players all the time, interviewing for the guild, raidgroups, other guilds etc. I keep forgetting important information. Especially if I don't chat with them in private with WIM so I can check the backlog.

I often find myself clicking their name in chat to see if I have had a private conversation with them or not and I've even sometimes said some lines in private JUST to have something to remind me with.

I would REALLY LOVE if there were a button in the WIM window where I could add a personal note about the player. There could be three settings on how to view notes.
1. Always have the personal note open next to the WIM msg window. (if there is a note)
2. Open it only when note button is pressed. (some way of showing there is a note might be needed)
3. Open it for x seconds when the WIM msg window opens and then fade it away until you press the button. (if there is a note)

This is a big request and it would really help me out a great deal.

I've found three note pad mods that could work for this BUT I really would love to see this feature implemented in WIM like the location button.

Seems like it should be able to interact with WIM. This is the one I would hope that you use if you use any other addon to interact with WIM.

I definitely would like to see this, and maybe aliases for alts and mains so they all are group under one "username"

Ah, I missed that =)
Now I'm all happy again.
I might be looking in to just adding a button for NotesUNeed in the wim window if I manage to figure out how. If I manage that I'll send you a copy of the code.

I'm very much looking forward to the update =)
