New to WiM, have a small (big) problem

[Developer] [Pazza]: Your user level on the forums permit you to see emails even though they are marked hidden.

Hello there, first off, I really like this mod, except for one tiny small problem that I have with it.

I got this mod, so that I could keep my /tells out of the general chat window, leaving that window free for guild, party, and other messages.

Unfortunatly, the pink whisper chat has been replaced by this rather annoying white text:

-- New Whisper From [Insertname] --
and
-- New Whisper Sent to [Insertname] --


I've looked all over the options for this mod, how do I get these annoying messages to stop?

This issue must be due to some other addon posting these messages. WIM does not send such messages to the general chat frame. If you are receiving them, it is either an addon conflict or the doing of some other addon. Try disabling all addons but WIM. See if the problem still persists. Then you can narrow down which addon is causing these messages to appear.

I've actually solved the problem, and yes, you are correct, it was another addon interfering.

There was an addon called Whisper Enhanced that I'm guessing came with the WiM that I downloaded.  I disabled that addon, and no more messages.

My wishpering box is getting spammed by "wim_w2wping" messages how can i disable this?

If you are getting ping spam, it means you are on a private server and not a Blizzard server. You will have to wait until I update the options pane for W2W which will allow you to disable it.
