A lot of us have situations when we want to send an automated reply.

-Mages to reply to "gief water plx"-, and "buff plz"-requests
-Priests to "buff" and "wanna heal dm boost plx kk?"
-Warriors to "come tank sm plx"
-And everyone to "1 g plz"

You recognize the situation?

What I propose is the following, and if I could code .lua, I'd do it myself...

A button somewhere on the chat window for "default replies". Clicking it will open a menu, showing a list of stored "Reply-groups", and each group opens up into a list of standard replies, just like the menu-system in the Fubar-plugins.

The replies could be written as macros that replace %n with the name you reply to, %l for level, %c class, %g gender, %r race. And it would also be nifty if the user could write his own replies while in-game, to store for later use.

"I'm sorry, %n, but your request for financial aid has been rejected due to your current economic state. In fact, it turns out that YOU owe ME money, and I look forward to your first payment of 5 gold within 48 hours. Thank you for your understanding!"

To save space in the menus, the replies could be shown cropped down to ~20 chars or even less. Or each reply could be named.

Healing >- "No time": "I'm sorry, %n, but I won't have time to come aid you right now. Perhaps some other day?"
Begging >- "No 1337 plz": "I'm afraid that if you insist on saying 'plz' because it's shorter than 'please', I'm inclined to say 'no' because it's shorter than 'yes'." (Works nicely on RP realms) 

Sounds to complicated?

I tried to write this, and got stuck immediately. I was never cut out for coding, just coming up with the ideas.

I sounds like a great idea for a future plugin. When I release the next series of WIM, probably 2.2, I will be adding more plugin functionality, such as being able to add more buttons to the shortcut bar. As of now, there isn't an easy way to do so.

Also the plugin system itself, now that I review it could be cleaned up a bit. I should do it before people actually start making their own. lol.

Anyway, that is neither here nor there. Thanks for the suggestion. It is a good idea.
