Toggle hide/show windows when in combat

It was said it is not possible to pin certain windows to stay open when entering combat, but it was possible to make all windows stay open when pressing a toggle (in this case right clicking the minimap icon.)

If it is possible to add this toggle, I would love it. I have certain friends that I like to chat with when instancing for example, that I don't want the window to close down when I am entering/exiting combat dozens of times during the run. I'd love to be able to just flick the switch and have the window stay open while in there and other times have it remain closed when my complete focus is needed (a.k.a. hard boss fights, raids, ect.)

I couldn't imagine it being a horribly difficult thing to code, but I've never coded anything. It would however be greatly appreciated.
