This update has some core changes attached to it. Some will be happy, some... well maybe not so much. Lets hope it runs smoothly. A while ago I rewrote the WIM 2 WIM module in hopes to optimize it and make it easier to manage in future updates (although you haven't seen many updates lately). This new/replacement module is not backwards compatible. Meaning if your friends are using a version less than 3.4.2 then you will not see any WIM2WIM data from them. For example, typing notification, coordinates, talent trees, etc. Thats really the bulk of whats new on the backend, so hopefully it doesn't effect you negatively in those regards.

Next big change is support for BNet Conversations. This is a work in progress because I know there are features you folks would love to see added. It has many of the core functions that you would expect however. Its own option set under the chat section of WIM's options with pop rules, sound rules etc. Minimap notifications, list of users in conversation and history logging.

Known Issues: I understand that realid names aren't saving correctly in history. This is because blizzard no longer shares real names to the UI. Names are represented as a token if you will and the game itself translates that token into a name. I can in no way retrieve that name so for the time being, only that token is being saved in history. However, since the game cleans its cache quite regularly, you will start to see in your history names appear as Unknown. The message is still there in tact, however the names not. Until I can think of something better, this will have to do.

•     Fixed URL Handler. Blizz removed WideEditBox. Thanks Astaldo.
•     New W2W protocol. Produces less addon traffic. Not backwards compatible.
•     Updated WIM's tutorial system to match WoW's new tutorial system.
•     Updated default skin to use same font as friends list. Was issue with international names.
•     Added BNet Conversation support.
•     Added option to force sounds when game sound is disabled (General/Main).

Just wanted to know if you was ever going to make loud sounds for WIM so you can hear faraway, when you walk away from pc?
