Yes, why not after all !

I used to replace the sounds folder in wim, but why not add a feature ingame to import sounds ? Or even select them ? Or easier :
The user just adds his sounds ".wav' in the sounds folder and it adds the name of the sound below the sound selecter on a select box.

I'm french so maybe i miss the plot sometimes with some expressions. don't hesitate to ask me to say it again with other words.

Idealy that would be great but the game doesn't work that way.... I can't browse files... I have to list them in the code... Wim does however support libShareMedia... You could easily create your own add-on while simply declares your sound files and will will recognize them... Hope that helps..

Thanks a lot pazza for your answer. Unfortunately i don't understand lua programming yet. i love to discover how it works and all...but time's not there... ( the last thing i programmed was on a tsr80 in basic >< )
By the way, maybe i can propose myself for wim to translate it in french it seems to be easier for me :p

And for the sounds feature i get it chen you speak about the files browser ingames. do you think there's a way somehow, to have the files in th sounds folder, listed ingame ? i mean we can see "ichatOut" "ichatIn" "chat" and " wisp"... so why not those we add ? ( is there a reason for wisp to be in wav format ? )

in facts that would be great to enhance the sounds possibilities for each channels.

The sound files you see are coded to show up in the sound list. they have to be registered.
